Designed to fit and follow the shape of your foot on an exclusive SAS Foot-Shape® last. A genuine moccasin construction wraps soft and supple leather completely around your foot, and the SAS Tripad® Comfort Cushions provide long-lasting comfort. Initial fit should be wide enough to stay very comfortable across the ball of the foot yet roomy enough in the front so the toes are not cramped. The heel should be snug and should not slip while walking.
SAS CoolStep™ Foot Bed: A removable foot bed designed to keep the foot dry and comfortable all day long. The anti-friction top cover inhibits heat providing a cooler surface underfoot. The bottom layer wicks away moisture while cushioning each step. SAS CoolStep™ foot beds are anti-bacterial, antifungal and washable for a healthy foot environment.
SAS Tripad Moc® Construction: The green odor-resistant tripad cushion the three pressure points of the foot: the inside ball, the outside ball, and the heel. The material we use never lose their shock-absorbing capacity.
Foot-Shape Last: Developed and crafted by the SAS Shoemakers to follow the natural shape of your foot. Provides all-day comfort with added depth for your toes.
EZ Lace™ System: Slides through the rings so easily you have to be careful not to lace it too tight. EZ Lace™ allows for even adjustment across the instep.
Most Comfortable Shoes Ever for Me review by William on 2/8/2018
I have a problem at the base of my small toe from running too much; sort of like a bunion. My foot is very very wide because of it. These are the ONLY shoes with a very wide shoe box and soft leather that do not hurt my foot. I have been using these now for over 5 years. These are great. I hope I can find a sneaker that fits this comfortable also.

First pair of SAS shoes. The Bout Time were so comfortable, I bought another pair to keep on hand. My feet in these shoes feel like I am walking in pillows. Oh my goodness, THE most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. You have got to try them!!!
The most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. review by Wayne on 10/6/2016
This is my third pair of SAS shoes and these are every bit as well-made, good-fitting and comfortable as the first pair I purchased about 15 years ago - and I expect they will be just as durable as the others. I wear my SAS shoes just about every day, but when I find it necessary to wear other shoes there is a noticeable (negative) difference in how my feet feel at the end of the day.
I have tried many different shoes and nothing even comes close to offering the support and comfort by badly damaged left foot needs. Following a motorcycle racing crash, orthopedic surgery returned the bones to their correct locations and shapes, but the foot can still be quite painful at times. SAS shoes greatly decrease my foot pain and allow me to walk pretty much normally.
Thank you. Please keep up the good work!
Quality review by Don on 4/5/2016
I have Periferal Neuropathy and my feet hurt constantly. In 2009 while shoping at a shoe store in a small Tennessee town, I found and purchased a pair of SAS Men's 'Bout Time in Black. I still wear those shoes today. I have visited the SAS SanAntonio returns store but have never found these shoes there. I suppose they are so popular that they are not returned or shopers buy them immediately at that store.
I have tried other makers of comfort shoes and have found that those shoes may be cheaper than SAS, it's because they are cheap.
I fully agree with SAS when they say "Quality dosen't cost - it pays."
Bout Time review by douglas on 2/14/2016
Bought Bout Time pair six years ago. Love them, I wear them every day. Today I ordered a pair of Move On. I'm excited to get them. Quality doesn't cost, it pays.
Quality, comfort, and fit are very important to SAS. Because of this, we always recommend being fitted for SAS shoes at one of our retail stores whenever possible. Our in-store fittings include the use of The Brannock Device to get an indication of proper size. A shoe is not ‘fitted’ until it is placed on the foot, but the fitting process can begin with this device. Size is first measured heel to toe, then the arch measurement is taken from ball to heel and width measurement is indicated on the outer side of the foot. Both feet are measured and a variety of sizes and widths may be recommended to try before making a final selection.

Tips for Measuring and Fitting
- Remember, when we go up in size, the width may also increase.
- All styles fit differently.
- Many customers may require doctor recommended orthotics. Inserts may require added depth in the shoe and make it fit differently, so try to account for this adjustment.
