This men’s classic was brought back into production for our 40th Anniversary. A genuine leather saddle across the top gives this classic an authentic penny loafer design. A handsewn, quality leather upper, genuine moccasin construction, steel shank, and a shock-absorbing sole give this shoe comfort and support that lasts all day.
Genuine Moccasin Construction: A genuine leather upper is wrapped completely around the foot to give flexibility and soft comfort.
SAS Footshape® Last: Following the natural shape of the foot, our exclusive last is used to shape the leather upper for proper fit.
SAS Insole and Sock Lining: A supportive insole follows the natural arch and heel for added stability and is covered by a smooth three-quarter sock liner.
Steel Shank: This metal piece is fitted underneath the midsole for additional support and long lasting quality.
Genuine Leather Sole: High quality leather adds cushioned durability as well as a classic element to this quality, handcrafted shoe. A cushioned forepart is built into the leather sole to add extra comfort under the ball of the foot.
Quality, comfort, and fit are very important to SAS. Because of this, we always recommend being fitted for SAS shoes at one of our retail stores whenever possible. Our in-store fittings include the use of The Brannock Device to get an indication of proper size. A shoe is not ‘fitted’ until it is placed on the foot, but the fitting process can begin with this device. Size is first measured heel to toe, then the arch measurement is taken from ball to heel and width measurement is indicated on the outer side of the foot. Both feet are measured and a variety of sizes and widths may be recommended to try before making a final selection.

Tips for Measuring and Fitting
- Remember, when we go up in size, the width may also increase.
- All styles fit differently.
- Many customers may require doctor recommended orthotics. Inserts may require added depth in the shoe and make it fit differently, so try to account for this adjustment.
